Viledon
offers a wide range of media for coolant filtration, including
wetlaid nonwovens from cellulose and polyester fibers, drylaid
thermally bonded nonwovens, and spunbonded nonwovens. In the
metal-working and metal-producing industries, lubricants are used to
cool the tools and materials involved and to remove solids produced
during the machining process. Before they are recycled back to the
machine tool, the lubricants are filtered to remove the solid
particles they contain, thereby maximizing the life of the coolant
and reducing coolant costs. Depending on the machining process and
the metals involved, a wide variety of lubricants can be used,
including
emulsions on a mineral-oil base, semi-synthetic or fully synthetic
cooling lubricants, or pure oils. Typical applications for coolant
media include washing baths, phosphatizing baths, coagulation baths,
honing and aluminum rolling mills, and can manufacturing. |
